The GS42R iconic boxy hull shape has been the most successful IMS design ever, winning multiple World Championships and Copa del Rey. The winning trend continued after IMS changed to ORCi, a new keel and bulb was designed in 2007 by Botin Partners to suit the new formulations. The boats continue to perform extremely well and they are still the benchmark of the ORCi fleets.
